Gladiator K LED

Postby Monkey Pants » Wed Jun 24, 2020 19:50

Hi,

First post here - hopefully in the right place :)

I have a new Gladiator K SCG-R and have a couple of questions regarding LEDs:

1. I understand the mode switch is no longer active on the "K" but how can I change the mode light to not be red all the time?

2. Product description says "Programmable red color LED & Programmable RGB LED". How do I manage these :

- User Guide says Global - External - LED panel (Fig 2.15) This tab is not present on my VKB Device Config (v0.91.30)

Thanks

In order to get access to LEDs you'll have to add this line: User=Developer under [User] section in the file called zconfig.ini, which is in the same folder where the VKBDevCfg is stored. After this you could program your LEDs: on the Gladiator base the LED is number 0; the LEDs on Kosmosima grip are numbers 10 and 11. For more about programming LEDs: manual.

My apologies for not being more specific.

There are two LED's on the Gladiator base, a red LED (which is assigned ID 0) and a GREEN LED which I can't seem to figure out the ID for. This is the LED I'm looking for the ID number for, if it is able to be controlled.

This one also has the number 0, only in a different color. Consider that you have one two-color led.

Ah that explains it.
So if I set ID 0 to a red color, the RED LED should light, and set it to a green color it should light up?
Could you clarify a little bit?
How would you:
1. Turn the RED LED ON
2. Turn the GREEN LED ON
3. Turn BOTH LED's on at the same time (if possible)

Thanks again for the help!

With these settings, the following results will be obtained:
1 line - when turned on, the upper (first led) will be constantly on - red.
2nd line - when the logical button 5 (D1) is pressed, the second led will light up - green, but the first one does not go out.
3 line - when you press the Shift1 button, the bottom (green) will blink quickly and the first will go out.
