Window 10 STECS XT2 v2.190
When I switched my thumb module on my STECS from POV to 4 way switch, it still registers as one axis. I have followed the recalibration process (restarting using ENG and right trigger-pressing two buttons while in 3), but with no success to switch it to 4 way buttons. I like to use the thumb module as 4 way switch rather than as mini joystick.

The ministick is by default axes only, but you can program it yourself to buttons by following this guide.
Re: STECS Thumb 4-way switch doesnt register as buttons
The problem is when I switched the module from mini joystick to the 4-way hat module, it only reads one axis and not two, like when I have my mini joystick module. If I press up it goes all the way up (to 65535) and if pressed down it goes only halfway (56090). Left and right also moves along the same axis, right is all the way to the left (0) and when pressed left it goes to 9600. I've tried to convert them to POV, but with only one axis it doesn't work as intended.
I'm wondering if the module itself is broken. I have now tried to re-initialize multiple times, flashed the latest firmware, and set it back to default, but nothing helped.
