F-14 Grip - Trim switch

Hello!

I have a problem with my F-14 grip. It was working fine, but from today, the trim switch is constantly giving input to the right and down, which I also checked in button tester. Buttons 9 and 11 are switched on all the time and after pushing trim selector to the top or to the left nothing changes. All the other buttons work fine. I’ve reconnected the joystick several times and checked all the connections.

On a software side - I use VKB Device Config (v0.93.43 / v2.19.B) VKBsim Gunfighter F14 XT2 v2.189.

Any ideas?

Do you still hear the switches clicking when pressing on them? Try a reset to default through VKBDevCfg.

Yes, I can hear clicking when I'm moving trim switch. Reseting to default didn't help.

Try to upgrade the firmware on the device, yours seems a bit old. Reset to default afterwards - if you still have the same issue please go for a service ticket.
