Hello - new to the forum!
As Topic subject shows, I too am experiencing an issue with a POV hat not responding to directional input. Spending the better part of 2 hours researching this issue here on the forum, I've come up short and provided a video demonstrating all recommended steps for resolving, excluding any manual labor on the device. I purchased a L and R Gladiator NXT EVO from a friend who purchased as new, assembled them, then had a child born within a week and could not dedicate time to give them the love they deserved. I am the first person to connect them to a PC and give them some love.
Backstory aside, the text description of the issue is as follows as explained in the video:
The L stick is functioning as intended, but the R stick appears to have the POV hat stuck at 225 degrees. Depressing the hat triggers the button, but returns to position 225 degrees. No directions are registered when moving the POV hat. I followed all device reset procedures and flashed the latest firmware (v2.199) with the issue persisting. I am inclined to believe there is a physical issue with the HAT itself, but I have not taken the unit apart to investigate, hence the forum post to revive an issue that appeared to have been resolved via software.
As required by the pinned technical forum post, see the following version information below:
Gladiator Firmware version: v2.165 and v2.199
Configurator: v0.93.43
Windows: Win11 Pro v24H2 26100.7462 experience 1000.26100.275.0
Files Attached - profiles for each instance of R stick firmware (out-of-box and v2.199) and L stick (out-of-box)

Re: POV hat stuck - Age Old problem?
It does seem like a hardware issue - please fill up a service ticket with your local vendor. Just fill a random number where the order number is required, as you're not the original owner (this won't void the warranty, no worries).
