Hello, I own a STECS Standard throttle with many of the buttons functionally mapped to my game, Falcon BMS. I want to replace a throttle button module with a 4-way hat module and am wondering if, after the module swap, the DX numbers will change for the other buttons.
If the DX numbers will change, is there an easy way to retain/save the DX mapping to avoid having to re-map all the buttons again?
Thanks,

Re: STECS DX mapping after module swap question
In my understanding, this is unrealistic - the overall mapping changes too significantly.

Re: STECS DX mapping after module swap question
Alex, thanks for the reply. So, just to confirm, the STECS will change the DX numbers it sends for the other buttons if I change a module, is my understanding correct?
Can I abstract this out by saving the logical button map and reloading it after swapping the modules?

Re: STECS DX mapping after module swap question
You understand correctly, there is no practical way to convert mapping automatically.
