Hi,
I just purchased a stecs mini plus, and the associated UCM module with it; and really love the functionality offered by the throttle unit.
The only problem im having is the throttle axis has a sticktion issue that becomes very noticible everytime i adjust the throttle to a certain percentage, leave it to rest there, and then move it again.
What Ive tried doing so far to reosolve the issue as per suggestions on discord :
1) Adjust the tension screws and try to remove the issue (with the original damping grease on)
2) Re apply damping grease:
a) First i tried nyogel 767A - thin layer first - re wiped and re applied - thick layer second - issue was still prevelant and wouldnt cease from happening, albeit, the thicker application seemed to dampen more and also lesser tightening of friction knobs to adjust and hence a little lesser sticktion feeling
b) Second, i purchsed Tribosyn damping grease (the sample packs) and applied different intensity damping greases through numerous applications (thin and thick as above) and again couldnt resolve the issue - the tribosyn had lesser sticktion happening with the thicker application, but it was still there nevertheless whenever left to rest at a certain point in the throttle's travel axis.
Ive tried everything i possibly could to reoslve this issue and am at my wits end now - i dont want to return the product, and Im trying to exhaust evey option before i do, but it seems to be the only viable option now. If someone could please suggest something, i would really appreciate it.

The latest I knew was that our Emergency Response Elves were taking off to help you.
Have you got the problem solved? Shall I unflag this issue?

Re: Stecks Mini Plus sticktion issue
Hello, I have been using the joystick for a week now, and I have the same problem as Darosh. I ordered the joystick on AliExpress. However, I did not change anything or open it up.
I have already moved it back and forth along the axes in the hope that it would improve, but it still sticks.
I don't want to return it either, because I really like it and it suits me in every way, but I really don't like the problem of it getting stuck after even 5-10 seconds of inactivity. If you can help solve the problem, I would be very grateful.
