total newbee - What do I need?

Hello!

I am totally new to VKB and want to buy a Gunfighter IV ‘WWII Combat Edition’ with extensions.

Normally I sit on a standard office chair for playing - how much extension would you usually recommend? - would you place the base on the ground or would you raise it on a structure to reduce need for extensions a bit?

When I order the Gunfighter IV ‘WWII Combat Edition’ - is there everything included to start, or do I need any extra equipment?

Hi Bjorn,

The joystick comes with everything you need in order to get it running. Now, the extension is up to you to decide which one you'd need, or if you need an extension at all - this depends on your setup: do you have mounts, how high your chair and desk are, does your chair accepts joystick mount, can you attach a mount to your desk, can you build a structure on the floor strong enough to hold your joystick?
