Up to firmware v2.17.F it was possible to set a POV to output Button V, which would fire not just the virtual button, but the button on the physical layer as well. This was patched out in v2.18.1, now Button V only fires the virtual layer.
The ability for a POV to output to the Physical layer was VERY useful as it, notably, allowed Shift, Modal Switch and Tempo functions to be assigned to POV presses. I have received requests from people who had set up their POV like so and were wondering why their config was no longer working after a firmware update.
It is of course possible to replicate this linking the virtual outputs to some physical buttons using booleans but this is a waste of limited boolean slots for something that used to work great natively.
I would therefore suggest to add the physical layer as output layer for POV:
Suggestion: bring back physical layer ouput for POV

Re: Suggestion: bring back physical layer ouput for POV
Yes please!!!!!!!!!!!!
It made for some really clean POV SHIFT/subSHIFT bindings utilizing Buttons V in 2.17.6 and prior.
In order to do the same now it requires setting up 4 booleans, on a 4 way POV, and wasting 4 unused Physical cells that didn't used to be required

+1 to bring physical layer output for POV. For example in StarCitizen it would be very usefull. Hope it'll be done soon )
