I removed the Y spring, added the X axis block, and tightened my dry clutch to make my Omni Throttle a 4DOF Throttle to use on DCS. The mounts from the removed spring ("cams" the right word?) bump up against the plastic now. I can barely feel it when I move it.
Is there a way to avoid this contact? Do I just need to open it up and put a hair of electric tape that to avoid any long term plastic wear? Did I miss a step? It wasn't a very formal process in the video in this regard.
Thanks much in advance.

If the way those pinchers rests against the gimbal when moving the joystick bothers you, then you could just remove them. Take the gimbal out, remove the pinchers, then install back the gimbal and recalibrate.

A little trick. Remove the X axis block. Use BOTH axes. One as Throttle control (Y) and another as RPM (X). Damper fix grip enough)
