Hi!
Rather than hijacking another user's thread, I thought to make my own.
I have purchased a THQ box (with WW2 grip) that I am struggling to configure, it is connected correctly to my EVO stick (which has worked perfectly since launch!) and then from EVO to PC directly via USB.
No matter how I try, the THQ box never appears to allow itself to be configured. I have been speaking with VKBOperator extensively via PM on the official Discord, and even they seem stuck with an answer. I can calibrate the EVO stick as much as I like, but as soon as they THQ box is connected to the EVO, VKBDev either fails to load anything (if not in 'R-MOD' mode), or loads the stick correctly (if in 'R-MOD' mode) but does not allow me to AutoFind&Config the THQ box. At no point have I ever seen the THQ appear in the list of devices at the top of VKBDev.
I have updated all chipset drivers, I have tried USB 2 and USB 3.2 (Gen 1 and Gen 2!), I am running the latest firmware on the EVO and the latest VKBDev. I have tried to run the stick on two other laptops (W7 and W10), and the same issue persists. I am really quite disappointed that it appears to be broken out of the box. The only consoling grace is that when I click 'Find&Show' under NXT Modules on VKBDev, the following appears:
Find:
#1. SCG - Adr 2:17.11
#2. THQ - Adr 2:17.24 Sub:4
Any help appreciated please. I hope to hear some more from VKBOperator in the near future, and have already opened a ticket on the website just in case.
Thanks.

Hi Ron.
Please find attached the requested images.
Screenshot 2022-12-23 145610 ... this shows the Global-External tab when only the EVO is connected, it works fine.
Screenshot 2022-12-23 145654 ... this shows the Global-External tab when I connect the THQ to the EVO. Well, actually it doesn't even show that because this is all I see when I launch VKBDev!
I can force the EVO to appear fine with the 'R-MOD' command, but it doesn't really make a difference because I still cannot find or calibrate the THQ.

Re: New THQ Box - Cannot Find
It seems that there is a short circuit somewhere, since the device does not appear in the configurator, the controller went into protection.
Try connecting with a different cable as shown in the picture. Turn off your loop first. Please note that this cable is not intended to be connected to USB, only to the bus controller.

Hi Ron.
I will have to purchase a cable to try your first proposed fix.
I have already tried the next connector block in the THQ, and have also attempted to do this without the WW2 grip.

Re: New THQ Box - Cannot Find
Try this option - connect the module according to the old scheme and now, before connecting the cable to USB, hold down the buttons on the F1 + F3 base.
The device should appear in the configurator and it will need to be configured using the Find & AutoConfig button.

Hi Ron.
Thank you for your help, I managed to fix this peculiar issue with VKBOperator via Discord (whom I think is fallout9 here?).
I am not entirely sure how it was fixed, but it involved swapping JST blocks on the THQ board and manually editing values attributed to the THQ box in VKBDev - it seems I managed to slip through the cracks and bug out the software for myself. I believe VKBOperator will forward on whatever it is he has learned to the software developers.
Thank you so much for your time, all.
Merry Christmas.
