I use a gunfighter 3 with extension 200 mm and a MCG Pro. But I for flying the F-18 I wanted a F-18 stick.
So I bought a Thrusmaster Stick and the TM-Warthog adapter.
I loaded the latest software en put it in the same folder.
When i load vkbDEevCfg-C as an administrator, and I push bootloader the dialog box that opens reads: _Njoy32_v2_11_5vkb. But it states "no bootloader found, but some NJOY32 controllers detected. Select device (doubleklick): VKBsim Gunfighter Moder Combat Pro v2.09.0. Well the mcg pro works very well. Even got the two pov hats converted to 4 way push buttons, works great.
But when close vkbDEevCfg-C, install the TM- f-18 stick with the tm adapter from VKB, reopen vkbDEevCfg-C als administrator , then is doesnt recognize the stick. The blackbox 2 starts flashing red light. I push get device , it states my mcg pro, says read data OK, but the MCG Pro is stil in de description. No other device detected. when I open bootloader en run _BB_MK2_Gunfighter_TMW_v2_11_5 vkb, if keeps mentioning No bootloader found, but soms NJOy32 controllers detected. Select device (doubleklick): VKBsimGunfighter Modern Compat Pro v2.09.0. Although the Thrustmaster is mounted.
I would really like some help, because As a digital noob of 54 years old, I like the gear but, man its hard

No worries, you're almost there:
- turn off VKBDevCfg and run zBootloader as Admin;
- in zBootloader select the Modern Combat Pro device with the mouse (click on it);
- click mouse on the Start Boot button, then the ... button;
- in the new dialog box navigate to the folder where you stored the firmware for the TM grip (BB_MK2_GunFighter_TMW_v2_11_5.vkb) and load it up;
- back to zBottloader, click the Flash It! button;
- the zBootloader will turn off after flashing the Black Box with the new firmware;
- run VKBDevCfg, click the Tools tab, then the Default button;
- navigate to Test/Axes, then click the Start Calibr Button;
- move the joystick along pitch and roll axes, slowly through their whole range a few times;
- when done click the End Calibr button and you're ready to play.

Re: gunfighter 3, 200 mm extension , tm Warthog adapter and f-18 Thrustmaster stick. Not working
So I opened bootloader the stand alone program with the red icon. Did it as an administrator.
I click on VKBsim Gunfighter Modern Combat Pro 22.09.0
I click on ... select the TM grip firmware
then flash it.
the black box 2 keeps flashing the red light.
The bootloader software does not shut of by itself.
I close is,
I go to vkbdefcg run it af admin
it states the vkbsim gunfighter modern combat pro, doesnt mention the tm f18
i calibrate, then end calibrate. But sorry none of the buttons work.
I checked in the game, it doesn't work.
I took the stick apart again and made a picture. Nothing seems damaged of bent of pinched.
Much appreciate you trying to help my though

Show screenshots from the configurator after flashing Global-External, Test-External Devices.
Do not try to flash the controller if two simple rules are not followed - there is an inscription Boot Device - Detect Ok and the green (blue) light in zBootloader is on.

when I have the mcg pro mounted, the bootloader is as copied below.
When I have the tm grip mounted, it is the same.

Try restarting the computer in Safe Mode to make sure there's no background running software that could interfere with our software and try again the whole procedure.
Re: gunfighter 3, 200 mm extension , tm Warthog adapter and f-18 Thrustmaster stick. Not working
restarted the pc in save modus (veilige modus in dutch) , stick was mounted, extension was removed. bootloader showed the mcg pro although tm f18 was mounted.
pushed start , black box2 puts lights out en comes back to life, then i push ... en select tm software, then press flash it, but nothing happens.
thx for caring.

Re: gunfighter 3, 200 mm extension , tm Warthog adapter and f-18 Thrustmaster stick. Not working
The Bootloader and native software will display the firmware that was last flashed on the Black Box and not the grip that is installed on the base, so that is alright. It is important to click the device in the Bootloader (displayed as VKBSim Gunfighter Modern Combat Pro), then do the procedure as explained above.
If still doesn't work please take a video while doing the whole procedure and load it as unlisted on YouTube, so we could see what goes wrong.

Here is the link to the bootloader sequence.
I had mounted the tm f18 stick. I restarted the pc. First thing i did was open zbootloader as an admin en then I clicked on the grip discription.
After that start boot, then select the firmware, the flash it button appeares, i click it, but is doenst do anything
SEcond part video in which I did it faster just to check that i perhaps would have to klick bootloader , then immediately select the tm software en try to flash it, but that had no effect.
https://youtu.be/GHtwAeiEcbc
second video where i tried the bootloader in the configurator, also as an administrator. Tested the buttons and the axes etc...
Thank You

After pressing the Start Boot button the device should restart in bootloader mode and yours doesn't, which could mean that some software you're running in the background is blocking it. Is there other computer at hand to try this process?

Use version 2.01 of zBootloader by placing it in a folder and running not the file itself, but from the configurator using the Bootloader button. If this does not help, then you can switch to bootloader mode using the button on the BlackBox.
But while you are trampling on the rake.

the only zbootloader I can find is the official website version ZBootloader (v2.0).
downloaded it again, put is in the folder with de configurator, run is, but no joy.
when i place the zbootloader file out of the "vkb" folder i created and I run configurator, then it says that zbootloader is missing.
I only have one pc unfortunately.

Re: gunfighter 3, 200 mm extension , tm Warthog adapter and f-18 Thrustmaster stick. Not working
Run zBootloader without launching the configurator so that the window is open.
Disconnect the BlackBox from the USB, hold down the Sys button on it and only then connect the USB cable.
Once connected, the button can be released.
Now the boot device should appear in the open window and you can upload the desired firmware to it.
Important - it is not necessary to connect the grip, it can be connected after the firmware and then check the connection with the controller in the Test-External Devices tab.
