Release notes for firmware 2.11.5 and tool v0.92.33

Hi,

I got my EVO in May, perhaps I missed something but are there any release notes on the firmware and VKBDevCfg?

So there really are going to be no announcement or info posted on the latest software/firmware update dated July 5th that are available to us??? C'mon VKB.

Come to think of it, I don't recall seeing release notes for any update of firmware or software--ever. Or did I just miss it?

I thought we used to but may be mistaken, my memory ain't the best these days. Especially on firmware updates it would be nice to know what it is for and/or what it changes. Oh well I have them still in my download folder, maybe I will just go ahead and give it a try here soon. Still a little unsure though. I have my stick setup working just fine.

Well crap. So exported my profile, flashed to the new firmware with new software, imported profile,now DCS sees my Gunfighter as a new stick - listing it as Gunfighter MCG Pro. I flashed it for the Ultimate Grip with Twist firmware.
Going to try again to be sure.

Flashed it again to make sure I chose the Ultimate with Twist, and it shows it as such in VKB software. DCS still seeing as new controller as Gunfighter MCG Pro. What the heck.

Luckily I had recently backed up my DCS controller axis and button profiles so was able to import them in to the new stick ID so I escaped a bullet there.
But I really , really do not like this showing up in DCS as a MCG Pro grip rather than the Ultimate Grip. Strange.

Well I thought it would work, apparently not. Guess I am going to have to set up all my controls for the Gunfighter in DCS again. Thanks a lot VKB. Just wanted a little Apache flying this morning , going to call it a day now. I should have never done this update so users beware!

Is there a way to get previous firmware/software? I can only seem to find the July 5th release. Thinking maybe if I can roll mine back to previous firmware my stick/grip will be recognized properly again in DCS.

There's a new feature on the latest MCGU/MCG Pro firmware versions - check what device is selected in the lower left corner, under PID, on the Global/Common panel.

'2.11.0 gave same result, MCG Pro grip.
2.11.1 fixed me up - now it is listed as Ultimate Grip once again in DCS and settings intact, thanks so much!!

Sorry I already resolved flashing with 2.11.1 firmware per Victorus suggestion above.
