Trouble Flashing EVO - HELP A HOMIE OUT

Postby ZUZUlovesu! » Sun Apr 03, 2022 1:59

What's good helpful homies. So I've been having a couple of issues with my Gladiator EVO Right Grip and its connectivity to the THQ and SEM-V modules I purchased. After extensive internet searches I found out my firmware isn't up to date (v2.08.0 while latest is v.2.09.0) and I believe this may be the source of my problems. I attempted to update and flash my device following fallout's instructions here: viewtopic.php?t=6115
But I've hit a roadblock. Every time I attempted to flash the bootloader gives me the following message:
"Device signature not correct..."
I would also like to note the first time I attempted to flash I accidentally did not select a file, could this have contributed to the issue?
After failed flash I receive the "Error CPUID" box and have to unplug and plug back in the stick
I 've attached screenshots. Any help is greatly appreciated! Thanks Kindly!

You have the latest firmware version for your device and try to flash the wrong firmware, no need for flashing.
Have you pressed the Default button followed by Find&AutoConfig button?

This is quite a disappointment since I thought I found a solution to my issue. Thanks for the quick response.

Yes, I went through all the configuration steps outlined in the youtube guides. The actual stick works perfectly, just not when I have the THQ (which is also connected to the SEM-V) hooked up. If I plug in the THQ while the blue bar light on the top of the stick is on and press "Find and SHow" all the modules show up but then the stick quickly disconnects. If I try to plug the stick in with the THQ and SEM already plugged in the software won't pickup the stick. I already tried switching the USB ports and everything worked for probably two seconds. Now I'm back at square one. Any help is Appreciated! Work your magic fallout!

So a quick summary:

Software does not pick up stick when THQ and SEM-V are connected (though blue light on base is kept on).
If I try to connect the quadrants after the stick is already connected and press anything in the config software (default, calibrate, find + auto config, find + show) the stick quickly disappears off the list of devices at the top of the software.

The day I received the products everything was working perfectly, the day after I realized I plugged the 4 to 4 prong connector in by mistake, and this whole thing started (I know now I have the THQ and joystick connected correctly).
