Modern Combat Pro thumb hat

Gunfighter Modern Combat Pro Twist XT v2.055 mk2

Hi, I was using my stick tonight and it seems one of the hat switches might have partially failed. I'm using the Modern Combat grip and the hat switch where your thumb rests seems to be the issue.

The switch is not registering when pulling back towards you, however pushing it forwards, left and right still works fine. I have checked this in both VKB joytester and VKB Device Config...in both apps nothing is registered when pulling back on the hat switch.

Any ideas?

I'm presuming as its only one direction that's not working that its more likely to be a hardware failure within the switch?

Pull the cap out and see if it works without.
Another thing to try is to reset it by pressing the Default button under the Tools tab. You'll have to recalibrate afterwards.

Pulling the cap off worked, and it now works with the cap back on too....odd

I feel a but dumb, could have probably worked that out for myself....but thanks for your help.
