New THQ Module not working at all

I am having trouble with my THQ module. I attach it to my Gladiator NXT exactly how it is shown in the VKB Setup videos and followed the instructions to set it up in the VKB Device Config. However, the THQ module does not even register in the software. A number of buttons seem to be missing in the software under the External Devices tab: I do not have the NXT Module Buttons "Find & Show" or "Find & Auto Config". I was able to configure my SEM module module with my other joystick without these buttons (they didn't show up at all then either), but not this one.

I tried this module with another joystick, and with other connectors to connect the module with the joystick. This did not help.

What else can I try to get this working?

What firmware version do you have on your Gladiator NXT?
How are you planning to have your devices connected?

I just updated my joystick firmware to v2.071 and it still doesn't work.

I have the THQ module connected to the left of my Gladiator NXT, using the 3-4 pin wire connector that came with the module as shown in the VKB Setup Video.
