Configurator Access Violations and dxInputManager Failures

Sticks just arrived (Gladiator NXTs) and I can't get them to work. Was able to get the new firmware on the sticks, but I am getting constant Access Violations and a notification that the dxInputmanager is failing to initialize.

Please send help! I've tried unplug/replug, restarting everything, re-calibrating...I am out of ideas...

That could happen because of computer issues or other programs like Aorus, Corsair, Logitech, Razer etc running in the background. Try to kill that kind of software, run VKBDevCfg as Admin or change computers to set up your joystick.
