Problem with new Gunfighter 3

Postby Cezary » Mon Jun 14, 2021 21:51

Today i got new gunfighter MK3 base with MCG Pro I got a problem with it. I was trying to collect all parts and make it work first time and all was looking okey but when im trying to move stick to the right it feels like rubbing little against something (only if springs are attached). I have changed the spring it did not help. I was watchig tutorials on VKB sim and can not find the solution. I will add some images below. Please can someone help with it. Thanks.

Ome more thing im not sure about stick is connected correct to the base i willa attache image too. I have pushed it maximum to the end and after I screw the stick on it is crooked.

Before someone from tech replies. You seem to have put together the roll axis cam screw wrong, you are missing 1 small washer on the outside (with the nut).
And the pitch axis screw looks different than mine but maybe they dont always use the same.

Btw considering its a new GF3 it looks pretty beat :) (or maybe its just the picture)

@shadak I am wondering why there are two washerson on one metal hook and only one on the other. I have add the image from what the site i have put the washer (so i put it wrong or 1 is missing and china worker forget to put it there), i can just move it to the other site):
But it not change anything because before i remove it there was the problem. I have remove it to find the solution and it did not help. I think it is thew flash of camera that is showing dust. Joystick came yesterday so i did not use to play yet.

Here is one more image where the washer are right now (there are 3 and there was no more). I dont know is that the reason why i feel stick working bad when i move it to the right only.

Completely release the dampers, remove the grip and dust cover, put some weak springs (only 1 per cam) and try again. Gradually add more elements (grip, dust cover, springs, dampers) until you reach the point where the issue returns.

I can see the problem with any spring connected from #10 to #40. Maybe this metal hook need time to be smooth ?
The problem is only when move horizontally.
But after i change thatr metal hook to another one H-Avia it feel better not the perfect but better.

What do you mean by 'horizontally'? Roll axis? Also, what is the metal hook?

Sorry metal hooks i mean - cams
Horizontally means left/right.
Sorry my english is no perfect :(.
And i can not push the stick 100% to the base. Like on one screen i sent before. A metal pin always burns and you can see it.
You can always see the metal pin. After tightening the screw, the stick tilts and you can see it even more.

There are two holes in the stick and i tried both with same result. Someone on reddit told me that problem sometime occur and i will need to open stick and fix something bot i did not do it yet before to be sure.
Once i moved the stick after tightening the screw, my pc lost connection to joystick. I was watching the tutorial video 5 times and im sure im doing it the same like in video.

No need for apologies :) just wanted to clarify the terms.
About the grip - press on it gently while tightening the fastener. It is alright to be a bit raised as long as it makes good contact.
