I received my NXT a few days ago. It worked well in IL 2 bos, until I used the configurator software a few times. Now the configurator or Zbootloader cannot find my joystick. I get the code 10 and "extra end collection or end collection missing". I've tried rebooting pc, changing usb ports, etc. to no avail.
Where are the boot pins in VKB NXT - if any? Or is there any other way to do a hardware reset?

Re: VKB NXT Standard - hard reset, boot pins
So it was recognized initially in the native software and now it won't? How about in Windows/games, does it shows up? What changes you've made to it?
Please post screenshots with the errors, in both zBootloader and native software.

I get the same errors as in the following link:
viewtopic.php?f=25&t=5470
I have no razer or logitech in the background. The red and blue leds in the base light up for a second, the blue led occasionally stays a little longer.
F1, F2, F3 buttons can't be used to calibrate the stick.
It does not show up in games either.
In configurator I tried to set the encoders as mixture and prop pitch plus F3 as a reset for mixture.

Re: VKB NXT Standard - hard reset, boot pins
Take out the base plate and find the 2 pins labelled Boot (under one of the encoder wheels). Disconnect from USB, short the 2 pins with something like a screwdriver and reconnect to USB. Release the short on the pins after 3 seconds or after the device is getting loaded in VKBDevCfg. If it loads up as nJoy device just press the Restart button. Reset to default afterwards.
Re: VKB NXT Standard - hard reset, boot pins
It looks like the issue might be the usb connector in the NXT base. I moved the usb cord to and fro, and the leds went on and off.

Re: VKB NXT Standard - hard reset, boot pins
See exactly if the connector is at fault or the cable and fill up a service ticket for parts.
Re: VKB NXT Standard - hard reset, boot pins - resolved
By trial and error I found the solution. My stick is the R -version, and to reset it I needed to press F1 and F2 button and plug in. That's all.
I haven't find any information on this option - my bad. For some reason, shorting the pins didn't do anything.
Thank you for all help! I must say this stick is the best I ever owned, pure enjoyment!
