Hello.
I just received my MCGU on the MK3 base. I tried to follow the calibration video, and nothing is working. The stick shows as an xbox controller (which I don't have connected) and only the x and y axis of the joytstick functions. Brake lever, hats, secondary trigger, none of it does anything.
What am I doing wrong?
Thanks!
(I flashed it using the _BlackBox_MK2_GF_MCG_Ultimate_Twist_v2_02_5.vkb file)

Don't worry about the joystick icon, that's just a png. Release the fastener and while tightening it again press gently on the grip to make proper contact on the base. You should have the buttons working if the grip gets properly seated on the base.

That was exactly what I was saying. Please do as advised - check your grip to base connection and make sure the fastener i properly locked and not sticking out.

How much force should be applied?
Should there be this much of a gap?
(I took off the boot cover to see if I wasn’t getting a good connection better)

The way you're trying to work on it is not safe - screw back the bolts through the top cap, otherwise you might break wires or damage internals.
Check out this video on how to seat the grip on the base; also this (no worries if there are different devices pictured - the procedure is similar). There's a metal pin on the top of the base - make sure that gets inside the hole on the bottom of the grip.

That took significantly more force to connect that I thought it would.
Thanks for your patient help, sir!
