Gladiator NXT Premium: Possible to Lubricate the Center Hat Switch?

Hello,
I use the (lower) center button frequently as the aircraft trim and lately it has been developing a grinding noise as if there was more friction. I'd like to lubricate it but am wary of screwing something up. Is there a relatively easy way to get to this hat switch and apply a couple of drops of grease?

You could use just a tiny bit of plastic friendly grease (not lubricant!) on that HAT switch's pin, but you'll have to take the joystick apart.
