Assistance needed 2 devices- MCG Ultimate + T-Rudder

Postby Deadstick » Tue Apr 20, 2021 14:21

Hello all, I'm guessing this is an easy one, but I'm having problems getting my MK2 blackbox to see both my gunfighter ultimate and T-rudder mk4 to be seen by the VKB software at the same time. I can only flash one or the other. I feel this is something I'm overlooking. Any advice or assistance is greatly appreciated. If I need to add the second MK2 black box I can do that.

Flash as gunfighter ultimate. Have you twist? What do you see at Test-Axes tab? Show screenshots of axes parameters (physical and logical).

Try to press Default button. Usually - for other grips with twist - SCG, F14 - twist occupies axis#5 Rz, V-Mars type. By default T-Rudders use axis#7, Z - D-Mars.

Also note that if you're plugging both grip+base and rudders in the same Black Box only the main device would show in configurator (grip+base). To combine a MCG Pro or U with twist module together with the rudders would require to either lock the twist axis and use the rudders axis instead (you would have to re-flash the non-twist firmware to your base+grip in this case), or to cancel one of the existing axes (like one from one of the ministicks) and replace it with the rudders' axis.

Gentlemen,

Thank you both for your assistance. The problem is solved. The fix was solution 2 from Victorus. I apologize if there was initial confusion if I didn't state clearly that I was using only the one black box. Physically locking the twist axis on the grip, then reflashing with the non twist firmware (even though I have the twist variant) resolved it.

What I found odd is many of these Youtube Videos I've seen, clearly had shown multiple devices connected. Immediately I though somewhere, somehow there was some sort of logic confliction. Whatever the rate, it has been resolved. Much appreciate from both of you and Fallout. I apologize if I hadn't made myself more clear on the front end.

Respectfully,

Mike (Deadstick)
