Gladiator NXT Premium C1 hat only registering 4 out of 5 buttons
Hey all. I upgraded my Gladiator NXT Standard to Premium with the kit purchased directly from VKB, including replacing the C1 single button with the 4-way clickable hat. Everything went smooth except this hat only gives me 4 buttons: pushing the hat to the right (inward toward the flightstick) shows up as button 17, pulling it towards me is 18, to the left/away from the stick is 19, and directly away from me to the back is 20. Clicking the hat in also registers as 20, and nothing registers as 16. All other axes and buttons are accounted for.
Any ideas? I've restarted the device, reset it to default and recalibrated it, no change.

As I said on Reddit, Profile/Button, check Poll option on the right side, click joystick on the center button of C1, click mouse on the cell that's lighting up, take screenshot, post screenshot.

I just replied there. You're fast!
It seems my assumption was slightly off; the center push lights up correctly (Reg#5 Line 1, C1 push) but the forward push registers as center push as well.

You said there's nothing lighting up for forward position?
Please post a screenshot with Profile/Buttons/Physical Layer and another one with Profile/Buttons/Logical Layer.

Pulling the hat back:

Pushing it left:

Pushing it right (the popup is cut off but it says C1 right):

This one lights up when I center-push the hat AND when I push it forward:

Logical layer:

This one never lights up at all:

Re: Gladiator NXT Premium C1 hat only registering 4 out of 5 buttons
I figured it out, first result on Google told me my Razer Synapse software was interfering so I quit that and the flash worked now.
Still showing the C1 center push lighting up for both the actual center push and forward push.
Any chance this could be a physical issue? I noticed when I was putting it back together, the hat is connected by three long leads that just sit in the contact holes on the circuit board in the grip; no connector and they're not soldered or anything.

Did you pressed the Default button after flashing?

Yes, no difference, and recalibrated after resetting Default, again no difference.

Thanks! You still helped me figure out that it's actually the forward hat button rather than center push that's sending the wrong signal.
Good timing, I need to get some sleep ^^

After work today, I took the grip apart again, removed the C1 hat module and didn't see any obvious signs of damage, and reinstalled it. No change, still showing the C1 center push output when C1 is pushed forward.

Take the cap off and try to actuate the buttons without it.
