blinking led while twisting/moving the stick

Hello there.
Not sure if I should open another proper ticket for this.
I have a gunfighter MK3 with kosmosima grip.
This is what it says in the software

HID-compliant game controller
Product Name:  VKB-Sim Space Gunfighter
PRO version
T-Link  supported
Firmware version:  v1.997

I've noticed today that when I twist or move the stick towards me the led at the top of the grip starts changing colour. it goes from solid blue to teal or to white plus the red led that usually defines when the A1 is pressed or not.
I'm a bit scared about this. I have 2 videos but apparently I can't upload them here. I've added 2 screenshots but you can't get what I was doing there.
Without risking to state the obvious, I-ve checked the grip is tightly locked to the base.

Show screenshots of LEDs configuration. Does your joystick work properly?

I have found another thread here on the board. I did a quick clean of the contacts and re tightened the grip and it seems it has fixed the problem.
