Well, now I have an order sitting in "My Account" but it's pending payment, so I could be lucky enough to have snagged one but it didn't register the Paypal checkout due to the 502. So hopefully I can return later and get the payment sorted.

I'm stuck at the loading rings on the final confirmation page Did you refresh that one too, or did you just wait for the rings to disappear so you could tick the box and click on place order?

First, make sure you use tab a few times, to move down to the Terms & Conditions field, then press space to tick it, behind the loading rings. Then simply hit enter in one of the typing fields, that will re-send the confirmation without needing the reload the page. Then you might get some "Bad Gateway" errors at the top in red instead. At some point it should go through.

Smart move. I think refreshing the checkout when I finally got the red bad gateway response was what finally got the order through.

Well isn't this an absolute shambles. I knew the demand was high, but surely VKB knew this too, and should've anticipated for their website to be flooded with orders. Been sat at "502 bad gateway" for 45 minutes now. Will I get my stick this time round? I see scalpers are already sticking them on ebay for $500+

For people who are still struggling, when you get to the final page of the checkout, and there are just spinners above the bits where you need to click the terms and conditions and click the Place Order button, open your browser's developer tools, go to the Console tab and paste the following:

Then paste the following line, which will likely immediately return a 502 - keep pasting it until it doesn't immediately return a 502, then wait for like 2 minutes and you should get an email with your order confirmation:

Even Nvidia didn't manage to pull off a successful launch in this climate. HOTAS stuff is almost as hard to find / overspriced as GPU's atm.

But yeah, VKB store could use a queue of some sort. Or pre-orders with limits per customer.
