Gladiator NXT Ministick in mouse mode - inverting at maximum input

Hi all, picked up my Gladiator NXT (Left Premium) recently and am loving it.

However, ran into a weird issue when I activated the virtual mouse option for the ministick. It all works just fine, except if I push the stick to its maximum vertical "up" input, it seems like the input inverts and the mouse starts moving downward.

Has anyone experienced this before? Am I just doing something wrong with the set up?

Looks like the ministick is not calibrated properly.

Thanks Fallout9, I didn't think to move the hat during calibration... I will give that a try this evening and report back!
