Gladiator NXT with Flight Sim 2020

Hello! I ordered a Gladiator NXT yesterday. I'm going to be using it with Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020, which I'll be purchasing today. I'm new to to the simulator and a joystick. I'm not sure where to turn for a little help? I thought I would try here.
I understand I will need to manually bind the NXT to the sim. What I could use some help with is what buttons to bind with what action. I know that after I get some hours I may want to customize, but I would please like a good starting point from existing users? I appreciate any help I can get to get me started.
