Just got my new Gladiator NXT today and I love it so far. One thing I'm iffy on so far is the POV/ministick.
Is it possible to configure it as POV with pushbutton only - no mode switching? I want to use the center press as a center view button. I've found the instructions to set it to TempoB so that a short press registers as a button push and a long press as a mode switch, but I'm not sure that's what I want.
I have limited use for a ministick because I have my radar cursor mapped to a ministick on my throttle. I could try using it for that, but adjusting to mode switching between POV and radar cursor sounds like a pain. I'm also leery of accidentally holding the button a bit too long and switching modes unintentionally.
I know I could swap the ministick for the hat module that came in the box but I'm not sure if it's an 8-way or 4-way hat, and if I can do the same thing with a software change, that'd be a lot easier.
So is there any way to leave the hardware as it is but disable mode switching? Or maybe make the long press time something long enough that I couldn't do it accidentally?

Re: Gladiator NXT Premium Ministick Config
Hi joshc.
There are two ways to solve the problem.
We can turn off the axes for microstick mode and leave only POVs. Uncheck the En, Vs checkboxes in Profile-Axes-Logic axes for 5 and 6 axes and set Povs to Always instead of ON / Off. Naturally, we do not need a switch in this case and we configure it as a simple button.
Or we can leave everything as it is, but increase the timing of Tempo up to 1(1000ms) second. This is a parameter in Global-Common-Tempo Time.
