Thrustmaster F/A-18 grip with standard VKB TMW adapter on Gunfighter Mk.III

Does it work, putting the original Warthog adapter in the F-18 grip on the Mk.III base? Should Can I use the TMW firmware?

The original adapter won't work on the new grip (it actually works, but you have to file parts of the grip or adapter). An adapter for the new F18 TM grip is close to production. No ETA for stock at this time.
