I too was waiting for new stock and would much prefer the K base.
I will be using it as a left-handed joystick in a space sim. I have little to no use for extra throttle controls and rotary encoders. To me, they do not count when comparing the number of "buttons" between bases. Therefore I consider the NTX base to only have 3 buttons.
Yes, you can expand the NXT base with modules, but again they are shy on actual buttons and complicate the use of a single left hand by feel instead of sight.

Hey,
Can tell at what time on 17 will be open for order? And how many units have on first batch?

Looks very interesting, I think I will grab few modules for GA purposes
As others, I am quite curious about the DIY module. How does this work out? Do we only get the PCB and build our box around it?
Or is there also the entire enclosure and we need to drill holes inside it to add the buttons ?
Keep up the good work! (and I am still waiting for the TECS :p)

Since i am (or rather was, now maybe!) about to buy stronghold mounts, which should i buy, now that things are changing? Should i wait for a specific mount for the button box, or will the button box be fitted on any mount, like a phone or a keyboard with their holders, so i can buy a generic short mount?
Does what i'm asking for have anything to do with this TEX thing you guys are talking about?
The Gladiator GNX base would fit the UCM system and there's already a plate available for it. For the rest of the modules please wait for the official announcement.
The TECS line is different than the Gladiator series; it will show up by the end of the year with full integration with UCS system.
that's fantastic. But as i said i was gonna buy a Pilot-C combo, so a UCM-S for the TM throttle. If i still buy it, will it somehow support the modules (that is the SEM, THQ, FSM)? Or should i wait for when they release a UCM specific for the modules? If VKB did a standard UCM and extensions to be sold separately then attached to the arm (*cough* Virpil) there'd be no question, but then again i'm counting on the accesories (or accessoires, as they spell it ) to support the quadrants and buttons, so "brackets" built to hold the mods (more likely the modules themselves should be built to lie on the brackets).
Regarding the gladiator base, it doesn't make any sense to me, i obviously intend to use a long UCM.

Just another quick question ^^
I own a Gunfighter MK2, can I connect the extra modules to its blackbox or do I will have to use another USB port?
No big issue there, but just curious

GunFighter and Gladiator are different product lines. The Gladiator NXT modules could get interconnected. For GunFighter we'll have the TECS.

Firstly congratulations on releasing this product, looks very nice!
Just a few questions,
1. Do you have the overall dimensions of the Gladiator NXT? perhaps is it taller or shorter than the Gladiator MK2?
2. Does the Gladiator NXT have a twist axis?
3. With the THQ Throttle Quadrant Module, does it support reverse thrust for Airliner use?
Thanks
Please, could someone answer my questions - Thanks very much
Re: VKB GLADIATOR NXT - Entry Level Taken to the NXT Level
1) Base plate dimensions are same. Shorter than the GL Mk2
2) Have
3) THQ developed for the general aviation purpose. But can use buttons for the reverse thrust.
