Connect the grip to the base (no extension), connect the Black Box to computer (no hub), delete all the old files and follow this guide https://youtu.be/fU4CbKhGm_w
Re: Gunfighter Pro-L MkIII Buttons stop working
I saw the video earlier today. It's very well done.
However, I've done as it instructs three times with the same results "Err-Stat Active" and that's as far as I've been able to reach.
Black box has a steady blue light and a flashing red light. External devices test shows base connected but grip 100% red. I've triple checked the connections at the base and grip and I'm not using a usb hub.
I honestly do try to find the answers myself before bothering anyone in tech support. That's what led me to shorting the boot pins as a way to work on a clean slate.

Please post 2 screenshots, first with Profile/ Axes panel, second with Test/ External Device panel.
Don't worry about ErrStat Active message, nothing wrong with that.

Open up the base and check all the white connectors, possibly some got loose when you opened it first time. Make sure they're all plugged in firmly.
Re: Gunfighter Pro-L MkIII Buttons stop working
OK Checked the connections and plugged it back in to the pc. I have a red led on the pcb inside the case.
Tried to bootload config app with same result. Red light on black box flashing.
Went to config and clicked Bootloader device is recognized. Selected file and flash screen comes up with error msg "Must divide by Zero". I click OK and try again with same error. I try to close flash screen and get error msg "Unable to write to device" and it won't close. Have to close with task manager.
