Re: Unveiling the VKB TECS Throttle Control System
@boRada: I read today on the German DCS forum that VPC requires pre-payment with a lead-time of 90 days for delivery.

Re: Unveiling the VKB TECS Throttle Control System
I know the TECS is a long way off, but I'm curious if an overall size/dimension of the base has been finalized...specifically I'm curious if the underside attachment points have been set. I'm finalizing my controller mounting scheme and was wondering if the holes either mimic an existing throttle (Warthog or TWCS), or if they're unique to the TECS. Thx!

Re: Unveiling the VKB TECS Throttle Control System
I'm afraid to say that the dimensions are 100% defined. I hope so. At the moment, the TWCS layout has individual mounting points and they are located at the bottom of the case.
But in the end it will be known only at the last stage of design. Now we are dealing with the left and right grips-this is the most difficult in this device and the rest of the layout depends on it.

Copy all, thx. I figured it might not be finalized, but it was worth a try. Cheers!

Re: Unveiling the VKB TECS Throttle Control System
I assume that means the TECS will plug into the "Bus" port?
Re: Unveiling the VKB TECS Throttle Control System
I realize you have had bad experience with DIY:ers before, but could you be persuaded to release a specification/pinout for the bus port, joystick port and grip connector?
I understand there would be a way to attach a grip directly to it without passing through a base, which would be quite useful for e.g. helicopter sims.
