I have a problem with 1 of my 2 VKB gladiator pro mk2.
I open a support for guarantee in july but nobody want to answer me...
The oldest (1 year) are ok, but the newest (6 month) don't respond when i plug in, no mater with usb port.
He was ok before and i don't change firmware or configuration.
When i try to open VKBDev_cfg i have this : "Can't read CPUID"

Re: No response from support since 65 days
try to open joystick base and see are connectors are loosen/disconnected (small ones leading to circuit boards), check them all.
Also since you have two of them try to swap them in between (one joystick base on other cable and blackbox), that way you'll eliminate if problem is cables and blackboxes or is it problem inside joystick base.

Re: No response from support since 65 days
you won't lose warranty if you open the base, they sent you springs and cams to adjust joystick to your needs and to do that you need to open the base and disassemble some of it's parts.
also i had problem with one of my connectors and vkb stuff will encourage you to opent it and check it.
They give you lifetime warranty on parts!

while joystick is still under warranty
Our flight gear remains under warranty for lifetime.
This does not, of course, mean that users are encouraged to bang the joysticks against concrete blocks - but it has always been our point that you may (and often, should) know what is inside, and never be afraid of doing some basic manipulations on the gear.
Glad it worked out with you.
Don't hesitate to write again if anything goes wrong.

I open the base and move the inner cable the joystick is OK.
When i closed the base is not reconnize.
Next step swap usb cable of my oldiest joystick with the newiest for testing cable.

could be main cable with two contactors one side going to the gimball and other side to housing (base inner wires), check it's connection and individual wire firmness (be gentle, apply appropriate force).
Can you post few pics of inner contactors and wires?

Re: No response from support since 65 days
Hello Zephyris,
Sorry for missing your ticket. We currently have shortage of resources and still a bit behind with the tickets. Due to personal circumstances the person who works with tickets have very limited time for that and the ticketing system is overloaded with "when the item is back in stock again" questions. I know it is painful subject and we are working with HQ to get much bigger stock with the next shipment. Also we are looking for an additional support agent to improve the response time.
No worries, the problem will be resolved. I have just replied to your ticket.
Best regards,
Eduard
