Is it possible to put the vkb grip (i have the kg12) on a warthog base?
Now with the adapter for the warthog, i can put that grip on the vkb base.
But can i change the mount on the kg12 with the warthog mount?

Re: VKB Grip on Warthog base?
There is no easy way to do it.
A stock controller has to be replaced by the board.
Some have done this.
Tell me if you think you'd be up to it, we will give you some hints and advice.
But it is not, may I repeat, a simple one or two steps procedure.

Re: VKB Grip on Warthog base?
well if it is going to be to much soldering things around, i think i rather not try this.
I just thought about getting the warthog mounting on the kg12, but did not think about the electronics.
The reason for this was to get the warthog base sold with the kg12 connected. Since i want to put the warthog grip on the vkb base.
Yesterday i wrote thrustmaster an email if they can sell me the grip by itself, let's see wich way this goes.

Maybe not as much soldering (although there will be some) as finding parts and trying to fit them in.Paul.Jahn wrote:well if it is going to be to much soldering things around
You will need to get a board at aliexpress (I don't have a link to it) - the board would be if I remember it right, cd4021.
Then find the way to put it inside the grip instead of the stock one, and re-connect to the controls (not knowing the pinout, yes).
As I said, we never did it but heard of other people successfully managing to get good results.
If you still want to try (to which I would bow) I will try to remember the name of the guy and the forum where I saw it, but I will hardly be able to do the communication between you.
