I just upgraded my SCG Gladiator to the Gunfighter base. I transferred my SCG grip to the new base. Got it to work perfectly in all my games and it works as intended. My TRudder and OTC Gladiator and other modules are working as expected.
My issue is with combining the TRudder and Gunfighter by using the new BB I got with the Gunfighter base. I have everything updated to the latest firmware and tried as many of the suggestions on this forum but it just doesn't seem to see the TRudder. No matter how many times I press default and reconfig it just doesn't want to find it. I get SCG and the base in the external devices tab.
I went a step further, thinking the new BB is just too new for the outdated TRudder and it needs its old BB to run properly. So, I connected the Gunfighter base to the TRudder's BB and tried to get it to work. The Gunfighter was now a no show to the config screen.
I downloaded the latest firmware from the Gunfighter base page and made sure everything was at the same version. The device config software is version 93.89 and the bootloader is version 1.96.
Is my TRudder not compatible to the newer equipment and BBs? Or is there an easy trick to get these to pair up properly?
What is the trick to getting Gunfighter BB to register MkIV TRudder?

Re: What is the trick to getting Gunfighter BB to register MkIV TRudder?
Most likely, your pedals are version IV, which uses the Mars sensor, and it only works with the BB MK2 (MK1).
Your new base unit uses the new BB MK3, and it works with version V pedals, which use a different sensor (V-Mars).
However, it is possible to connect your pedals to the BB MK3.
You need to flash the _BB_Mk2_TRudder_Slave_v2_22_3.vkb firmware (or a slightly earlier one) to the BB MK2 and connect it to the MK3.
Note that only one USB cable is used per MK3.
This is all described here.

no that didn't work either. I flashed the trudder, while connected to the Mk2 BB using the _BB_Mk2_TRudder_Slave_v2_19_9.vkb file. Went ahead and did the default and config. just in case it mattered.
Then I disconnected the trudder from its BB and plugged the connector into the "pedal" connection on the GF Mk3 BB. Plugged the GF BB in and went through the whole default, config and calibrate. The trudder didn't show up in the axis tab while calibrating and is not showing up as any axis that I can tell.
I guess I should ask, should it show up in the axis tab while calibrating? I assume it would be like all other controllers and show that something is happening while you test and calibrate.
I am fine if this is just not possible I just thought it would be nice to cut some of the wiring clutter and clean it up some.
thanks.

To avoid guessing, you should format your question according to these recommendations. Then half the guesswork will be eliminated.
It's recommended to attach the configuration profile (in zip format) to your message.
