VKB MCG Pro: Buttons working but not axis after firmware update

I've just updated the firmware of my Gunfighter Mk. III MCG Pro w/twist, from what I believe was 1.9.7 to 2.0.9, using VKB Device Config. On the first attempt, I didn't have z-Bootloader downloaded, and of course the update failed, and VKB Device Config stopped recognizing it. I restarted VKBDevCfg, unplugged then plugged-in the MCG, and it was recognized again so I updated the firmware to _BlackBox_MK2_GF_MCG_PRO_v2_09_0.vkb

Now, the stick shows updated in VKBDevCfg but no axis works, even after calibration. All buttons function normally, but the axis all remain at 0 in testing, both in VKBDevCfg and in-game. The LEDs on the black box are solid green and blue. My Google-fu has failed me, I'm not able to even find anyone with a similar problem. Could anyone assist please?

Press the Default button under Tools tab, then recalibrate.
