NXT and NXT EVO compatibility

I have a NXT that i bought last year and looking to get a NXT EVO as a left stick. Can anyone tell me if my right NXT SCG grip fits the new EVO base? And the other way around of course. Just in case it turns out that I prefer the feel of the EVO on my right.

If you have a Gladiator NXT and a Gladiator NXT EVO you could swap grips on them.
