Hi, I have a Left hand Gladiator NXT (standard version) and the small stick on the top right of the grip doesn't seem to work. left/right/up/down at least do not register in the software when pressed, a click down does register however.
On my right stick I have a gunfighter mkiii SCG so it has the same grip but it's the premium version. The corresponding stick on the right grip (the left mini stick) seems to work fine, when I click it down a red light comes on, like a mode shift... this does not happen on the left stick.
Is this behaviour expected of the standard grip vs the premium? Should the left mini stick not have the same behaviour on the left grip as it does on the right? Is there a way I can fix it or test to see if it is a hardware issue? Any help would be much appreciated.
Thanks.

Re: Gladiator NXT right mini stick not working
The standard version comes with a HAT switch and the Premium with a ministick. The HAT switch would activate buttons by default. The ministick has 2 modes: axes and buttons (POV by default).
So your HAT switch on the left hand SCG would never act like axes, but you could program it as a POV if you want (just assign the POV functions in the Logical Layer).

Re: Gladiator NXT right mini stick not working
Hi, sorry im not that well versed in these sticks just yet so please forgive my ignorance of the terms etc. I understand that it should be different to the premium version in that its a hat switch and not a ministick, and doesn’t have the 2 modes so thanks for clearing that up.
A few questions:
What do you mean by “The HAT switch would activate buttons by default”
This hat switch should still have more inputs that just clicking down yes? All 3 of the small “sticks” on the standard grip are 4 way hat switches right? And they should behave similarly?
What is “pov” in this context? And what is the logical layer?
Thanks.

Re: Gladiator NXT right mini stick not working
Open VKBDevCfg, go to Test/Buttons and press on your A1 HAT switch up, down, left, right, center push. With each actuation you should see a green bubble lighting up on the tester panel. If it was a ministick then you’d see the red round POV on the right side of the buttons panel lighting up.
Re: Gladiator NXT right mini stick not working
Hi, thanks for that, yeah when I tested the buttons I only got a green light for button 30 which is the click, I got no green light for up/down/left/right. I managed to find another thread that fixed the issue though.
"Go to Profile/POVs, set POV Type as Discrete, keep Output as POV and press Set button under Action tab."
After doing that I can now see the red pov thing on the right moving around
