MCG Pro grip has never worked out the box - stick light flashing red

Hello Support,

I have both the KG12 grip and the MCG Pro but the latter has never worked.
I have the Gunfighter MK.I base.

If I put the KG12 grip on the base, the stick light immediately goes green.
If I put the MCG Pro grip on the base, it stays flashing red - what is not working please?

I attach files showing vkbdevcfg with no stick attached and with the KG12 attached. If I mount the MCG Pro it shows as if there is no stick attached and the blackbox stick light flashes red.

My MCG has print on the side to show it is LOT 1017\01

When changing KG12 to MCG, you need to change the firmware for this grip. And only after that and calibration will it work.

In in the interim to your post I have now to revert to the KG12 grip but now that doesn't work.

Look at my gunfighter base, have I somehow broken one of the contacts when swapping over grips? (Bottom right one)

That looks bad. Should fill up a service ticket with your vendor to get new parts.

Given the fact, that it is Rev.A GF base, there is one more thing to consider: what revision the MCG is.
In case MCG is Rev.B - it will be hard, if not impossible, to make it work.
