Postby heman86 » Wed Feb 19, 2020 3:18

hi,

i just bought the mk3 with the space grip and so far i like it but how can i increase the resistance on the joystick?
it moves to easily for my taste. do i just have to change the springs and is it easy to do?

i got 4 different kind of springs in the package 10, 20, 30 and 40. which one are the strongest? and which one are built in out of the box?

thanks

Hi again,

Please refer to this conversation viewtopic.php?f=25&t=4054 about changing springs. They come in different grades, #10 being the soft ones and #40 the hardest. You could have 1 spring per cam or 2. Don't forget to put the sleeves on the springs and install them back-to-back like in the video.

Most likely springs #20 are default.
If you decide to add up resistance try to keep single spring per cam at the beginning. So for a total of #40 resistance better go with 1 #40 spring per cam rather than 2 #20 springs per cam. If it's single spring per cam install the spring on the closest channel to the cam.
