I've been wondering that as well. The original post says that it will incorporate rubber pads that are similar to the ultimate. That suggests it would at least be possible for it to have a metal version. I'm hoping that metal construction is one of the "outstandingly sweet extras" that is included in the premium version. The extra price versus the standard edition is quite a bit for just electronic detents (though those look really useful as well).

I am a new MCGU owner, and can say that the metal construction is great. A metal TECS to pair with it would be outstanding.

Agreed that would be pretty awesome indeed. I absolutely love my Ultimate grip.

Man they sure have been teasing us on this TECS throttle for some time now.
Wonder if we will see anything this year?

Nope, I don’t think it’s even in production yet.

Maybe next year. This year, perhaps the end of the month even, as it’s been in production since before Christmas we will see the throttle quadrant. We may even see the SEN too as per the “boots” post.

That’s my bet anyway!

I'm catching up after just getting my Gladiator, but I'm so impressed I'm looking for all the info I can find on the throttle to match it with.
I was glad to see there's one in the works, much less multiple variants. Looking forward to seeing the difference in the combat aviation and space sim grips, I'm curious!

Me too! I've had mine for about a month now and am loving the Gladiator. I'm eagerly waiting for the throttle to be released and can't wait to hear news about it.

Hey VKB, could you clarify the approximate sequence of release of TECS models? Are you going to release them all at once, or first comes the cheapest one and so forth, with noticeable interval between them?

From the opening post of this thread : «TECS is entering production stage». It was the January, 28th. Not sure what that means exactly but 3 months later, you can at least let us hope it's entered production already

Obviously anything can happen, perhaps they encountered problems in production phase and needed to go back to the drawing board ?
Or perhaps it will be on sale on the site tomorrow morning ?
