Inputs not working - F-14 grip

Hello,
I have an issue with my F-14 Grip - all the buttons suddenly stopped working. I’m using it with a 20 cm extension, connected via cable directly to the BlackBox, as I’m using a force feedback base from VPforce.

The setup has been working fine for about nine months, but now neither the VKB Device Config (v0.93.43 / v2.19.B) nor the Rhino Input Loopback app recognizes any of the buttons or axes, even when they’re being used. On the other hand, when connected to the PC, VKB Device Config does detect that the grip was connected and it is being showed in the app (as the VKBsim Gunfighter F14 XT2 v2.189) - it just doesn’t respond to any input.

I’ve been looking for a solution but haven’t found one yet. The grip is still under warranty.

Reset it to default in VKBDevCfg and make sure you click Yes at the configure popup which shows up afterwards.

I tried it many times and unfortunetly it doesn't help.

Check the connection between the grip and black box. Even if the grip is not connected, the device will show up in VKBDevCfg, as all the info is stored in the black box.

Thank you, I had to unmount the grip from the extension and attach it again. The fact that VKBDevCfg was showing the grip even when only the BlackBox was connected was a bit misleading.
