Gladiator NXT Premium Buttons Not Registering

I'm setting the stick up for use on Star Citizen and the right stick is working fine but the left stick will only pick up the X and Y axis. I downloaded the VKB config and the buttons do not register during the test. Any ideas?

Check the cable connecting the grip with the base.
