Update: I've since been in touch with sales@vkb-sim.pro and they've arranged to have the replacement part shipped to me at very little cost. Should arrive in 1–2 weeks. If you find yourself in the same situation, I wouldn't hesitate to email them.

So I was really excited to inherit a Gladiator MKII with a KG12 grip — everything is in perfect condition except the POV hat, which when tilted in each direction only fully depresses the right of the four switches. Have taken a look inside and sure enough 3/4 of the switches are worn out, and you no longer get that satisfying physical button 'click' from them. Has anyone got experience of replacing the individual switches?
Or, is purchasing another KG12 grip an option? I see them for sale on the Europe store, but am unsure if the ones listed are compatible with the MKII base (non-pro).
Any help would be really appreciated, as I love everything else about this stick and would hate to have to give it up.
Thank you!

Re: POV switches worn out: replace them or new grip?
The grip on the Gladiator MKII is not detachable, so not compatible with those you see on sale.
You have 2 options here:
1. Contact sales@vkb-pro.sim and explain in detail what exactly parts you need (adding photos would help);
2. Get an adapter kit (soon to become available in stores again), which gets installed like this and would make the base compatible with most of the other VKB grips. In this case, the existing grip on your joystick would have to be discarded and you'd need a new grip. If you want twist on that grip then your options would be Kosmosima grip or F-14 grip; KG12 grip doesn't have a twist module.

Thanks for the speedy response Fallout, I appreciate it! I'll certainly drop sales an email, along with some pictures. If that doesn't work out the adapter kit sounds like a good plan.
