Hu guys,
is there a way to center the ministick "Rot Y axis" via a Button press ?
I use it in a game as rel. axis to speed up and down. That works perfect but i want to center it.
I thought it is maybe possible about the Axis Val. When centered it is around 32767.
I wan't that when i press the ministick, the Rot Y axis "sends" 32767 to center the rel axis.
Any other idears ?
best regards
Stefan

Re: how to center the ministick "Rot Y axis" via a Button press
You have 2 options here:
A. Set the center button of the ministick as Axes reset: this will get you a long press on the center button of the ministick to swap from buttons to axes and back and a short press a reset of both axes of the ministick.
- 1. click on the uSSw button;
- 2. and 3. set the center button as TempoB (2) and check the Axes Reset (3);
- 4. close that window;
- 5. hit the Set button to save.
B. Set a button on the ministick as a Reset Axes button: this will reset the desired axis.
- 1. identify the number of the axis (here is 6);
- 2. check the Poll option and click on your joystick button that you want to use to reset the axis;
- 3. mouse click on the cell that's been lighting up;
- 4. set that as RelAxes;
- 5. set its function to Reset;
- 6. check the number of your axis or axes (you can have more than 1);
- 7. close that window;
- 8. hit the Set button to save.

Re: how to center the ministick "Rot Y axis" via a Button press
Hi Fallout,
really THX it worked perfectly but...
i just notist that the in game axis i want to controll is logarithmic...
I tried to use "Set Value" instead of "reset".
The Button Info Box tell me than "Value (FA3)"
The handbook says:
FA3
Sets axis response to specified value. FA3 val variable specifies response value in
percents of the whole response range. This parameter for each axis you can find on
Profile — CommonnAxes tab. Fig. 4.30 shows X and Y axes response when
FA3 button is pressed four times. FA3 val is equal to 45.
i tried now to set FA3 to 20 (for example) and thought when i press now the button the axis will jump to 20% from whole response range. But it still centres
Any idear ? =)
I search a way to tell the axis "jump to a (a certain value i add) or b (to a certain % from whole response range)
Another option could be to store a axis position and reset it with another button... Trimmer reset and trimer return maybe ????
PS.
As more i work with te Software as more i notice how powerful this tool is

Try Fix Axes/ FA3 and don't forget to activate FA in Global/Common, under Basic.
Re: how to center the ministick "Rot Y axis" via a Button press
Hey fallout9,
fix axes worked. I had to set FA3 to 16% the get the "center of the axes in the game". Now when i release the fix it jumps back to the old value.
Any way it will stay at 16% till i increase or decrese ?
I read about Trimmer reset and Trimmer Return which sound interesting. I tried it but it didn't worked (pretty sure the configuration was wrong)
Trimmer Reset — Resets trimmer(s) to default condition. Returns axis with center
to the central position and axis without center to zero. Also stores current axes trim
value. It can be reapplied to axes using Trimmer Return function.
Would set be a option ?
best regards
Stefan

Re: how to center the ministick "Rot Y axis" via a Button press
Check again that button for Fix Axes, click on it and see if Alternate Action box is checked; if it's not check it and Set the profile. The Alternate Action, when checked, is holding the button pressed between 2 button actuations. If it's not checked then that command is on only while the button is physically pressed.
But from personal experience Speed Limiter in SC works better on a classic hat switch.
