Hello,
I've been using the gunfighter for a little while and I've started noticing that it the X-axis doesn't return center anymore after pushing it more than 60% left. If I do a full deflection to the right it will go back to center.I
This only started happening recently and it's quite noticeable in all games I use the joystick for, and it's like the spring force is reseating something on the gimbal.
I've tried swapping different cam types, checking the gimbal and bearings for binding, fully loosening the friction dampers, checking the pcb mounting screws, doing all 8 axis recalibrations with the VKB software and updating software and firmware.
Im using single #40 springs on both cams
30-cam on X-axis(still have the same centering issue with 10-cam)
No friction damping
Default deadzones/curves set in the software
VKB device config v0.88.89 and VKB gunfighter MCG pro V1.954
Gunfighter doesn't align properly anymore after full deflection in X-axis

Same "problem" here. On Y axes too, but not as much. I think it is due to some automatic calibration (ACl tick box in profile) that still run after we "set" the device. I haven't messed yet with manual calibration, will report when I do.

I have seen your message, will be back to you some time this weekend, latest Monday, if I don't give me a nudge.

Do the simple test and let us see the results the same way you posted the picture above (screenshot):
1 - pull the grip all the way back (towards yourself) and LET GO.
("let go" means remove your hand from the grip and do NOT follow it on its way back)
2 - take a screenshot of this movement from the moment you pull till the moment the grip fully stops in whatever near-the-center position.
3 - do the same in all other directions: forward, left, and right.
Then please post these 4 screenshots here. Let me chew over that.

Hi AeroGator
as you can see on the first pic when deflecting fully in 1 way it recenters on a new point every time untill i do an opposite full deflection, weird thing is this only started showing up recently

Re: Gunfighter doesn't align properly anymore after full deflection in X-axis
I thought I added a better illustration of my issue.
All is fine with 60% or less deflection, when i go over that, the center point goes offset and stays there untill i do a full deflection in the opposite direction.
This is with 30 hard center cams and a strong spring. Do i have bad bearings?

2 fixed it slightly, but I don't like having a temp fix like deadzones. and I have this stick for little bit over a year and this issue started showing up a week ago.
Is my stick damaged? i also noticed slight play before tension in the movement from center.

Re: Gunfighter doesn't align properly anymore after full deflection in X-axis
It also doesn't return to center only from full left deflection without a stickgrip mounted.
Full right deflection to center repeatedly brings it back to value 32767. Is this a case of worn bearings, because it feels like something mechanically gets moved when doing a full left deflection
