Sometimes mode buton is shortly flashing itself from green to red and back, when I use my Gladiator mk1 pro. It behaves like that only in the first minutes of using, later it doesnt happen or very rarely happen. What could be the problem? I have the latest firmware (v1.85b) installed and mode button is usually red after I boot up my PC and then i switch it to green (im using pinky button for dropping bombs in IL2 GB which is programmed under mode2 - green).
thanks in advance

To gain access to the Led settings (and not only that), it is necessary to add the User = Developer line to the [User] section of the Zconfig.ini file that appears after the first launch in the configurator folder.
Do this and then show screenshots of the Global-External-Leds tabs. And Profile-Buttons.

It is necessary to update the firmware, this is clearly hinted at the topmost line (header) in the configurator.
Required at least 1.94.9 - you have 1.85B. Take from here. At the same time and the configurator. After installing everything, check the result.

The manual is super confusing in LED part. Can you tell me what I need to set in LED option to get the mode button (on the base) just switch red and green depending which mode is set (pressed)?

After resetting to default, the response to pressing Shift, Led will work exactly as you described.
See line 3 in the Led settings. It makes no sense to retell here a paragraph from the manual.
If it is more detailed about line 3, then it’s like this:
Flag event? - Shift, Shift number? -1 (and the only one), LED number? - 0 (and the only one, we have no others, 2 of our led form one under # 0), how will it burn? - constantly, what color? - 2, what brightness? - color2 column - 3. Everything.

I did reset. Now the red button is blinking rapidly for few seconds in the first minutes of the flight (after it was set on green light because im using that shift mode). Im using flaps and other buttons too, during flight. I need to say that I also designated pinky button as ordinary button (for bombs) so maybe that is changing something with LEDs?

Re: Mode button flashing on Glad pro MK1
We also need a screenshot of the Global tab and Profiles-Axes.
You can leave a reaction to the events of only the first 3 lines in the Led settings.
To do this, put External in the first column (starting from line 4) or select Off in the Led Mode column.
And at the same time to change colors among themselves in the first 3 lines in Color Mode.
Then when you connect the joystick will be green, and the calibration and Shift will respond red.

Do as in the picture and understand where your mistake. And don't forget to do the calibration, this is indicated by the lack of a daw on the Cal check box in Global.

Ron61, thank you very much for replying even on weekend. It seams now is working fine. I only reversed the colors of leds so its green when my shift mode is ON and is red when its off (default color at Pc startup). Also I calibrated the joystick (I forgot to do it after hitting default button ).
Here it is how I have it now:
