Rev C. adapters
Hi VKB Europe. I bought an early Gunfighter Mk IV MCGU and have been waiting for the Rev. C adapters so I can also use my KG12 grip that's collecting dust. Is it possible you have these in stock but haven't put them on the website yet? Additionally, when I bought a UCM it still came with the outdated UCM brackets without the precut holes. I drilled my own, but would still like to know if you plan to offer the updated brackets this year. I've watched this forum for months and am aware of the logistics issues with getting stock. I've also seen some comments from Eduard and others giving an expected time window when new items will hit the store, but then never being mentioned again. No criticism here, things happen. But the interchangeable grip system is one of the main marketing points of the gunfighter, and it seems odd that after a year of selling the new models it is still not a possibility to update grips customers already own.

Re: Rev C. adapters
Hello Wild_Robbie,
It took some time for me to step in, sorry for keeping you waiting.
We expect to receive the next batch in few days with Gunfighter items and then we will offer rev.C adapters as well as GF Mk.IV stand-alone bases. If that batch arrives as promised to us, we should be able to offer it by the end of the week.

Hi Eduard,
Is there any update on the Rev. C adapters? I saw in another post you said these were expected in a shipment to arrive at the beginning of May...
Thank you very much.

Re: Rev C. adapters
Listen, this is ridiculous. The Gunfighter Mk IV was released in Summer 2023 and boasts swappable grips. It's nearly Q4 2024 and there is still no option to update grips from Rev B to Rev C in the EU store, whereas the NA store has had these products and more for many months. Support only works when fallout9 is contacted directly and he puts pressure on the store staff to respond. There are so many statements on this forum coming from the EU staff that is just hyperbole, and I'm ready to throw in the towel with VKB because of it.
Great products. But when I have to work with a single supplier that repeatedly blames delays on every excuse under the sun, ships customers outdated products to clear old stock, ignores the forum (is this not the proper channel for general questions?), or tells customers to fix a faulty product themselves instead of offering a replacement... I eventually get a little fed up.

Six weeks since I've received a response and counting.
Stated on Aug 18th.

Re: Rev C. adapters
We do have now all Gunfighter variants in stock. This week we will start selling Gunfighter base and all rev.C modules needed to convert existing grips to adapt it for the Gunfighter IV base.
This was said by Eduard on June 25, 2024 http://forum.vkb-sim.pro/viewtopic.php?f=29&t=8095. I'm baffled how a company like VKB tolerates this from their distributors.
Re: Rev C. adapters
Do you think you can make an impression with the measly “seven weeks”? I've been waiting a year for an answer... It's like always with VKB: customers can't rely on announced dates, and that's not surprising, because neither the company's own employees nor the dealers know these dates.
Unfortunately, the quality of the products is outstanding.

Re: Rev C. adapters
Plexus, if you've read the entire thread you'll know that I was given an answer to my original question. They said the adapters were in the shipment expected to arrive within a few days and they would maybe have them available by the end of the week (Aug 18). Then they went completely silent.
Eduard responded to several threads sometime in the middle of September but didn't follow up here. My frustration is not about the part that I need (read my first post-- I'm understanding of how these things work). I'm annoyed that they're deliberately not responding. I've had some frustrating history with VKB FSC Europe already and have shrugged my shoulders about it, but I don't want to deal with it anymore. Interchangeable grips is a main selling point of these premium joysticks, and my other grips are just paperweights ever since I upgraded. Since I can't get a straight answer from the distributor, I'm looking at selling my GF MKIV and going with Virpil.
By the way, the North America store has had the adapters for nearly a year now.
