GunFight Pro Ultimate Mk. III - Stick reset

Postby dotPhi » Mon Feb 26, 2024 19:09

Hi,

As I reported shortly after receiving the GFP Ultimate, I'm still having the problem where the stick appears to go throug ha soft reset while being held off-center.

The stick is not being unduly twisted, and does not have the twist axis. Just light pressure towards one corner can be enough to cause it to soft reset. Whjen it soft resets, it causes the hat to send all the buttons mapped to it which causes issues for the sim I'm flying at the time it occurs.

I have checked multiple times that the base is firmly attached and firmly screwed in, which it is.

Does anyone else see this issue, or is it just me?

Check the connection - release the fastener, make sure the base is fully inserted into the grip, tighten the fastener.

I've done that several times now.

So you know exactly what it is doing, it is working, I'm flying, then both lights on the stick illuminate white for ~2 seconds, during which the DMS button inputs are made, then it continues to operate.

I'm unsure if the whole stick stops working momentarily during this time, or what exactly is happening, but it appears to be some kind of reset.

The control box lights do not change.

Take a photo of the contact pad on the base rod with the grip removed.
