Just saw the Black Friday announcement: https://flightsimcontrols.com/2023/11/1 ... ouncement/
What I am curious, Eduard, is if the new STECS mounting plate, STEM backplate etc. will also be available for purchase on Black Friday. These items should arrive with the end of November shipment, as far as I know and I am looking forward to upgrading my STECS Standard to a STECS Max on the mounting solution. Any infos on that?

Re: Black Friday Sale
Unfortunately the STECS and its accessories will not be included, as the shipment has been delayed again for the end of December
Re: Black Friday Sale
Oh wow, people will be piiiissed, many were probably hoping to get a STECS during this sale and now they won't even be able to buy one in time for Christmas. Is there any chance for a New Year's sale?

Do you have some proof?

I am counting 1% on the Max. It was 408.14 when I ordered mine (first batch, German VAT), now it is 412.07 (with German VAT again). A difference of €4, or about one hundredth of the total price. Which is totally explainable by variation in shipping costs, especially if the airlift batches were different sizes, or fluctuations in the EUR/USD exchange rate.

yeah Standard 355€ and now 359€... (Europe only...) US is still the same, to avoid any confusion
Mini Plus 285€ -> 288€

Re: Black Friday Sale
You do realize that the factory price is in USD and we never increase the price on any product and if you see the price going up or down in EU is because of currency fluctuations?

That is nowhere near 10%, and well within the realm of exchange rate variance and potential variation in freight cost.

Re: Black Friday Sale
Hi there,
to be clear, this was not an actual complaint. I like that VKB has staff in EU and I prefer this rather than having sales in China and this is of course additional cost. The short response time and the general open communication is a real big PLUS.
USD to EUR is falling right now but from a higher level than in September.... It’s a point. I prefer VKB to have a safe margin for currency to have stable prizes for the customer. Some people just couldn't order for 355 because of out of stock, now its 359.
On the other hand, it was mentioned that someday in the future the "normal" batch will arrive without the air freight penalty, but no one said what this will mean for the customer prize.
Final verdict:
Dear VKB team: Keep up the good work, it looks like an amazing product, please get the STECS to EU, we are waiting .

Check your maths again. It is closer to 1%. The 10% BF discount would be closer to €36 than to €4.
Re: Black Friday Sale
Unfortunately, I cannot order from the european site... I've been trying ever since the sale came into effect. most of the times it gives me 502 Bad Gateway error, sometimes it loads but I cannot proceed to checkout.
In the meantime, the two things I'm looking to buy went from "in stock" to "in stock but actually not available for shipping until the 4th of Dec."
