Ticket response time

Postby _ASTYuu_ » Thu Jun 08, 2023 15:05

How long is the usual response time? i've been waiting for 3 days now.

I opened a ticket last saturday that my newly arrived NXT EVO WWII Combat Edition had a faulty trigger, it is overly sensitive to the point it will fire when flipping the trigger into firing mode, and even when just laying my finger on the trigger (not actually pressing it).

I was asked to provide a video of the issue, which i did: https://www.youtube.com/shorts/hcC6LrkfONE

But its been 3 days of silence now.

Post a pic please with the fire trigger button when the trigger is lifted and another one with the inwards of the trigger.
Do you feel the button moving into place? If you press it with your finger does it actuate short or provides a 1-2mm travel until the cell lights up on the tester?

The magnet does lock it in place, but there is a little amount of play before it actually hits the button.
but the moment it touches the button it activates.

I forgot to mention; after pluging it in the first time the button was constantly being activated, even when the trigger was not in the down position.

Have you got through the initializing and calibrating procedures? (click Default, Yes to configure popup, calibration)

So I assume no change?
How does the trigger switch reacts if you press it with your finder, without using the trigger? Does it have a 1-2mm travel until the button actuates on tester? Trying to figure out if it's a switch issue or trigger.

I barely have to touch it for it to activate.

also, shouldnt it have a sort of tactile feedback to it? like the pinky trigger at the base has? because it feels nothing like the other buttons on the stick.

It should. You can split the grip and check on the button, looks like it's out of position. If not sure, please post pics.

After spliting the grip it seems to work. I can also feel the actual button now.
But if i put the other side of the grip back on it will work for 1 press and then "get stuck" and it stops working.

Remove the trigger button guide - there's a small screw under the switch; unscrew it 2 or 3 turns only (if it's coming off it will be hard to fit it back), then jiggle the guide to come out, together with the button and the spring. Inspect those, then put them back. Make sure the guide gets in proper position.
Post pics if it still have the issue or if there's something broken inside.

I've done the steps you've showed and it now does work a little better.
The button now has the tactile feedback but it still is nowhere close to the feeling of the other buttons, its very mushy feeling.

Flipping the trigger into firing mode now sometimes activates it, not all the time like it used to.

But im pretty certain there is something wrong with the actual button on the motherboard, its way to easy to activate compared to the rest.
I dare say the trigger on my T16000 feels 10x better.

Edit: if using the trigger (not pressing directly on the button) i have to really focus on it to feel the feedback

Thanks for doing all these tests. Please update your ticket with a link to this thread, I'll speak with the vendor myself to send you a new switch ASAP.
Can I have your ticket number please?

Oh, thats great!

Thank you for helping btw!

Altho its odd that one has to ask on the forums to get a quick response.
